Jonathan Knappenberger

Coach

Jonathan Knappenberger brings over 10 years of coaching experience and a deep passion for player development. He began his career as an assistant coach for the Cullman High School boys’ soccer team, serving two seasons before transitioning to the girls’ program, where he has now been an assistant coach for eight seasons.

Jonathan currently serves as the head coach of the 2016 Girls’ Club Team and has been coaching with Cullman United for three years. He previously led Cullman Christian School to a state runner-up finish as head coach and has coached numerous recreational teams, fostering growth at all levels. Additionally, he has privately trained several elite goalkeepers who have gone on to successful collegiate careers.

As a player, Jonathan experienced championship success firsthand, winning a state title in 2002 and finishing as a state runner-up in 2003.
