Coaching Staff

Greg Brown is the longest-serving coach in the program and currently serves as Executive Director of Cullman United Soccer Club. His coaching career began in the early 1990s when his son, Jacob Brown, started playing soccer.

Recognizing a need for higher-level competition, Greg founded and coached the Cullman Crew, leading the team to a state championship before transitioning many of the players to the Huntsville Kicks. He is also credited with starting the Cullman Middle School soccer program, where he coached for several years.

Greg later became the Cullman High School Girls Varsity Head Coach (2010–2013) before handing the reins to Jacob Brown and continuing as his assistant for six years.

As a co-founder of Cullman United in 2018, Greg has played a vital role in growing the club and developing opportunities for youth soccer in the community. Over his 28 years of coaching, Greg has had an immeasurable impact on the development of soccer in Cullman.
